Our Paediatric Blood Draw service offers calm, gentle blood collection for children aged 5 years and over in familiar, supportive environments.

Delivered by a Registered Children’s Nurse, appointments focus on reducing anxiety and supporting each child at their own pace. Procedures are explained in an age-appropriate way, with time given to build trust and confidence. A parent or person with parental responsibility must be present at all times.

Children are never restrained, and the procedure will not proceed if a child becomes distressed or chooses not to continue. Our aim is to make the experience as positive and stress-free as possible while maintaining the highest standards of safety and care.
